Let me tell you a little bit about my journey and why I am a good fit to help you.  My name is Maria and I am the Founder of Mamasita Fit. I am the wife of a wonderful man; we have been married for over 18 years and God has blessed us with two handsome and very rambunctious boys.

Kids Nutrition is also extremely important. We need to teach our children the understanding of what food is good for them and what foods they should eat in moderation. However, there is a fine line on how this should be communicated. You don’t want your children or teenagers using the F-word! FAT!!!! 

 

 The goal is for you and your family to build, develop and create a healthy relationship with food and exercise without feeling deprived of anything.

In 2018 I decided to make a permanent change in my lifestyle to get and stay healthy and, in order to make sure I stuck to a fitness routine, I decided to become a competitor for NPC Bikini. My whole life I was always into working out and feeling good, however, I never saw the changes I wanted to see of my body. I am Mexican and I can tell you that the cuisine is not the healthiest, but it is the most delicious. (I know I am bias, but it’s ok) Ha! That being said, after decades of working out, I decided to locate a trainer that was familiar with the competition world. I was lucky enough to find a great couple who could train me and prepare me for the craziness I would experience while preparing for my competition.  Once I started training, I realized that the majority of my transformation was made in the kitchen with the foods I eat, not just the exercise I was doing.

Do you know that saying “abs are made in the kitchen?”

Many of us struggle to know what exactly we should be eating in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. With so much conflicting information out there about nutrition, diets, and the latest health crazes, it can be incredibly overwhelming to determine which foods we should be incorporating into our daily routines. Should we be cutting out carbs? Eating more protein? Going vegan? Trying intermittent fasting? The sheer number of options and opinions can leave us feeling confused and unsure of the right path to take. Part of the challenge is that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healthy eating - what works wonders for one person may not have the same benefits for someone else. Our individual nutritional needs can vary greatly depending on factors like our age, activity level, underlying health conditions, and personal preferences. To make matters even more complex, new research is constantly emerging that seems to contradict or complicate previous dietary guidance. Just when we think we've got it all figured out, a new study comes along and tells us we've been doing it all wrong. With so much uncertainty and so many mixed messages, it's no wonder that many of us simply throw our hands up in frustration and revert to our old eating habits, even if they aren't the healthiest. The key is to tune out the noise, focus on the core principles of balanced nutrition, and experiment to find the specific foods and eating patterns that make our individual bodies feel their best. It takes time and effort, but getting to know our unique nutritional needs is an invaluable investment in our long-term health and wellbeing.
